Anti-static ESD

ESD certification (electrostatic discharge) indicated for EPA areas, in accordance with the following standards:
• CEI EN 61340-5-1: 2016 Annex A
• CEI EN 61340-4-3: 2002
• CEI EN 61340-4-5: 2006

ESD marked shoes are different from normal anti-static safety shoes, because they are electrically dissipative, that is to say that they constantly discharge static electricity accumulated by the human body into the ground.

It is possible to recognize an ESD shoe, thanks to a yellow sticker that distinguishes it from other types of shoes.

ESD safety shoes are shoes that have been engineered to protect those who work in hazardous environments protection from static discharges, and are available in all safety classes and are required for:
• Working with microchips
• Production of sensitive electrical parts
• In painting
• In the laboratory
• In the medical field
• When working in contact with flammable liquids and gases

IMPORTANT: ESD shoes should not be used by electricians and operators who are working in contact with electric power conductors.
